Instant Messaging Systems and VoIP

Instant Messaging systems from Skype, AOL, MSN, Yahoo! and others combine chat with peer to peer file sharing and voice over IP (VoIP) Internet phone services and are a must in the rapidly expanding growth of a global market. We have been working with instant messaging systems for many years and have bags of experience in projects of varying sizes from small businesses to multi-national corporations.

The main area of our expertise is building applications based on open protocols such as XMPP and SIMPLE (SIP), but also have a great deal of knowledge with various IM client applications such as classical desktop, AJAX web clients and mobile applications. We also have experience in extending such famous open source clients as Psi and Spark.

We have taken part in the implementation and extension of instant messaging servers and have been working with eJabberd, OpenFire and Jabberd 1.x servers for a long time. Our experience has enabled us to develop many components for them. In addition we have experience in setting up and configuring XMPP transports and working with corresponding public networks such as MSN, Yahoo!, ICQ and AIM.
