The Building Blocks of a Solid Working Relationship
Part of our ambition at Ardas is to improve lines of communication with our clients in order to build solid working relationships. We put great emphasis on increasing the efficiency of interaction with our partners and feel it is especially important when working with companies overseas.
Certainly the most important is ability of the team to communicate to customers. We are available on Skype, mobile, landline phones and certainly by email. All team members have good knowledge of English and have regular classes to improve it.
Whatever project we are involved in we do our utmost to ensure our partners know exactly what they can expect from us. In order to do this we have created a range of collaboration tools which are available to our customers for free. You can find a description of the tools we use below.
Requirements Documentation
We document project requirements with Atlassian Confluence, the world's most popular enterprise wiki system. Balsamiq Mockups for Confluence helps us and our customers to prototype screens very quickly. This is very important because during our work on prototypes we understand the product better, are able to discover some usability issues and take decisions which are very cheap at the stage when development is not started yet.
Project Management
XPlanner is a project management tool and time tracking system that records the responsibilities of each party and clarifies the timescales in which each task has to be completed. It provides distinct transparency during the collaboration process. XPlanner is oriented to agile projects management demands. It enables both Ardas and our customers to keep track of work-in-progress in real time and allows either party to add or change information.
Test Cases and Incidents Tracking
SpiraTest provides efficient test management and incidents tracking. Using it our customers can receive support, track our progress during a project, view quality assurance reports. To improve the process we have synchronized SpiraTest with XPlanner using an automated system which makes it even more user-friendly for our customers.
Code Review
If the project is with an international partner we provide access to our SVN repository, but if it is more convenient for you we are happy configure a dedicated server. We use Crucible and FishEye from Atlassian to provide efficient ability of formal code review.
All web tools are available via SSL to provide security that is so important to our clients.
