This program was designed to automate adjustment, calibration and testing of electric current supply meters during batch production. A device assembled on the basis of three-phase network generator, control gauge and tested (calibrated) meters, is used to calibrate and check the latter. The system allows to operate the network generator to set measuring circuit parameters (currents, voltage and an angle between them).
The system functions in multithreaded mode and allows for simultaneous monitoring of all connected meters. It also provides a possibility to compare the readings with a standard meter and to reflect deviations in real-time operation mode. The system allows to emulate work of a meter with set characteristics in order to increase productivity and decrease calibration period. Thanks to this function, there is a possibility to correct calibration constants automatically without any human interference.
Possibility of establishing a connection with meters and generator using RS-232 (COM-port) and RS-485 (twisted-pair cable) interfaces was developed so that the system can function in automatic mode. A special protocol was developed for data transfers.
Contemporary statistics methods of data processing and their modifications are used to correct calibration constants. Among these are methods of component analysis, spline approximation, forecasting and smoothing methods.
Multi-window visual environment was developed for manual mode correction of calibration coefficients. Such environment is a user-friendly settings interface, which allows to save intermediate results and work both with specific coefficients and their groups. The system supports several filing formats allowing to work with different versions of calibrated devices.
The system provides a possibility to create a schedule, allowing to change parameters of measurement circuit for points of control. The latter are used for verification measurement of deviations and creation of reports both in a form of text files and MS Excel spreadsheets.
