The site was designed for "Svit Knizhok" company located in Dnipropetrovsk. The site combines functions of a visit card, e-shop and also social networks. A visitor can find all necessary information, such as employment, discount program, news, contact information, information about retail outlets, and availability of books. Some items can be purchased online. Catalogue and search help find books or view similar articles. Various payment options are available. Such social elements as the forum and voting help trace people’s interest in different kinds of literature.
The project can withstand a heavy load and be frequently updated. Potential range of products includes from 50,000 to 100,000 titles. New arrivals, prices and remainders should be updated daily. Integration with 1C (accounting system) provides easy data transfer from 1C database to the e-shop database. We have developed extension for 1C that exports information about catalogues, items, prices, remainders, outlets and their stocks.
